Creating an Emergency Plan Keeps Your Family Safe and Secure

COVID-19, Health Report July 17, 2020

“Make a Plan Minnesota” is a new campaign that acknowledges a sad fact of life in the COVID-era.

“There have been instances around the country and here in Minnesota where parents have become too ill to care for their children for short periods of time,” said Kris Ehresman, Infectious Disease Director for the Minnesota Department of Health.

She and other officials are urging adults to think about, write down and share what should happen with their children if they become sick.
