This week on the Health Report, a new round of Covid tests are available through the state of Minnesota and we’ll hear about the Covid-19 treatment, Paxlovid, and how to find out if you’re eligible for the treatment.
A new round of free at-home Covid tests are available through the state of Minnesota. Governor Tim Walz and Lt Governor Peggy Flanagan say the new round of tests are available ahead of the holiday season, so Minnesotans can test ahead of gatherings and avoid spreading COVID to their loved ones.
“We’re doing our part to remove any barriers for Minnesotans to test for COVID before gathering this. ….Testing for COVID is one simple way to stay healthy around the holidays,” Lt Gov Peggy Flanagan said in a press statement.
The tests are available to order online or by phone and are delivered free of charge to Minnesota households. To order tests, You can call the Minnesota COVID19 public hotline at 1 833 431 2053 or online at mn.gov/covid19
